Get-Rich-Quick Schemes:

Earn Easy Money” offers which promise unusually or even unbelievably high returns for very little investment of money and/or effort. Probably all of us have now or then run into offers like “Earn $3000 every day without lifting a finger” etc.

Of course, there are many Get-Rich-Quick Schemes outside the realm of Internet marketing – betting, high yield investments, stock market strategies etc. – but as far as Internet marketing is concerned mostly a “proven system” is advertised which makes money automatically.

Without passing a general judgment on all such offers in the direction of “scams without exception”, care and consideration is advised before investing in such offers. The sound statement “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is” can serve as a guideline in the assessment of such offers.

[
Rich goes back to Old English rice and is akin to Latin rex = king;

Quick comes from Middle English quick = lively, moving; Old English cwic = living and is akin to Latin vivus = living;
