AIDA:


AIDA is the acronym for the four essential ingredients of good sales copy which are


  • Attention,

  • Interest,

  • Desire and

  • Action in exactly that sequence.


This means that your sales copy first has to grab the reader’s Attention, usually done by a impinging headline .

Second an Interest in the advertised product /service has to be created best done by listing some intriguing features in a bullets points list.

Third in sequence is to spark a desire in the readers by detailing how he would benefit from it.

And the last point must be a call to Action. Something like: “Click Here To Grab Your Copy Now!”, “Click Here To Gain Instant Access!” etc.

Analysing highly converting sales copy will show you that each of the above points can be found in it in correct sequence.
